The Playground Series tries to reach memories of emotions by bridging the playfulness of a child and freedom on every brush. Soft pastels and expressive brushstrokes are combined together but also contradict themselves in a very natural way. We are not all the same anyways and either our memories or our emotions.

Digital artwork has become an important part of me because as an interior designer we use digital tools constantly. These were the first attempts on painting without mess...I kept the mess mentally :)
It captures the forgotten place of the city hence once underground protagonists. Through vibrant yellows turquoise and vertical forms of reds and burned Sienna this painting is traveling you back in time and memory.
It pictures the tension between what we see and what we are and the way our self image is under pressure under the societies expectations. The mirror stays blanc because it doesn't matter what she sees in it, but what matters is her perception of herself.
